  The Human Brain laminated card This 8 1/2 x 11 laminated card is a helpful tool to use with a person who has experienced a trauma. On one side is a picture of the human brain and how it functions. On the other side the functions of the right and left side of the brain are described and what happens to a person's brain when they experience a trauma. This visual aid can be very helpful to a person who has experienced trauma and show them that what they are going through now is normal.
