Helping Others During a Time of Loss and Grief - curriculum (includes PowerPoint with slides for each chapter)
This material will help participants learn that people grieve
differently, the stages of loss that we face during our journey to
recovery, what to say and do and what not to say and do for someone who
has just lost a loved one, and that death is not the only loss we will
face in our lives. By teaching this curriculum you will be equipping
your students to be caregivers for those in mourning. You will also be
helping them face losses that they have not grieved for as well as
preparing them for future losses. This curriculum can also be used for a
recovery class for those who have gone through a loss and want to help
themselves recover. This curriculum can be used in conjunction with the
book, Recovering From the Losses in Life, by Norman Wright. The book Experiencing Grief is an excellent resource as a companion book for attendees who have lost a loved one. The PowerPoint file will be emailed to you when the curriculum is purchased!
